We Save Water.
Did you know?
Commercial car washes are more environmentally friendly than washing your car at home? Washing a car at home may use between 80 to 140 gallons of water while a commercial car wash averages less than 45 gallons per car. Washing cars at home or on heavily paved areas where there is little runoff control can pollute the environment and harm wildlife.
Protecting the Environment
Super Splash is a member of the Water Savers Program from the International Carwash Association, and is committed to reducing its use of fresh water and the proper handling of all water used during the washing process. By reclaiming and recycling our wash water through our state-of-the-art water recycling system, we're able to use significantly less water than you'd use to wash your car at home. Recycled water is carefully filtered and treated before use to leave your car sparkling clean. Before any wastewater is discharged, we remove any oil, dirt, and/or detergents. We never release wastewater into storm drains, surface water, or onto the ground.
Super Splash is a 100% Recycle Facility
We recycle water, trash, lube center materials, and paper. We're your neighbors, and this is our community too! We're doing our part to keep our environment clean for generations to come.
Home Driveway Car Wash
Cleaning solutions, dirt and debris from driveway washing run into storm drains which empty directly into streams, rivers and lakes.
Cleaning solutions from driveway washing seep into the ground water supply.
potentially contaminated ground water is pumped to public water supplies for everyday use and consumption.
140 Gallons of water are used during the average home driveway car wash.
VS
Professional Car Wash
Large amounts of mud, dirt and sand are trapped in the first step of our water recycling system.
The water is filtered a second time to remove more dirt, sand particles and used cleaning solutions.
The last step in our filtering system filters out particles to micron levels less than 20. This allows us to reuse our water and some of the still usable cleaning solutions.
40 Gallons of water are used during the average professional car wash.
